treasured monuments of France is the Eiffel tower. The Eiffel Tower was the most-visited paid monument in the world: 6.98
million people in 2011. Gustavo Eiffel built the famous infrastructure. The
Eiffel tower was supposed to be demolished in 1909, but was saved as it was
used as a giant antenna. Yet it is the most highly appreciated monuments in
France currently.
