Chiang mai (เชียงใหม่), covers an area of 20107 square kilometers, is the second largest city after the country's capital Bangkok in Thailand. It is also the largest and most culturally significant city in Northern ThailandChiang Mai has been the capital of Thailand for a long time and still retains a lot of precious historical and cultural relics. Within the urban area there are lots of temples represent the splendid history and culture of the ancient, at the same time, the silk and textile made in Chiang mai are famous throughout the world.
